At a recent visit with the Lord in the Secret Place, He looked a bit different as I approached Him. His chin rested on His chest and instead of moving in time to the music, He remained as still as a stone. The mental image in my mind was so odd that I immediately tested the vision by asking, “Do you confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh?”
The reply was the same voice He always uses, “Yes I do because it is Me. Does something seem wrong to thee?”
I replied, “Yes, it does! You are still as a stone, My Love.”
Jesus didn’t reply, but I was unwilling to leave until I knew what was going on. Instead of attempting to dance with Him as usual, I stepped inside of Him. His image overshadowed mine as I worshiped Him for a while.
“My Love,” I finally said, “I will not leave here until I know what is going on. Why are You so still and stony?”
After asking this question, I focused on His goodness and kindness and was content to be with Him while I waited. A few minutes seemed to stretch into hours. Finally, He said, “This is how My Bride sees Me because they focus on the scripture that states God never changes.”
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8 ESV)
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with Whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. (James 1:17 ESV)
A vision appeared: The Lord looked stony as He did when I began seeking Him. A woman performs a dance around Him with elaborate motions.
Jesus continues to explain, “They have many ways of dancing/moving around Me, thinking that I am in the exact same spot. However, they fail to realize how big God is.”
For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the Earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9 AKJV)
A huge figure looms in front of the person dancing that almost looks like a wall disappearing out of sight. “God is so big that He can respond in many different ways to a circumstance that appears to be the same as a prior situation. Just because God chooses to move in a different way, doesn’t mean that He is not the same God.
“My Bride must learn to move with Me. They need to follow subtle cues and gentle nudges as if dancing with a partner. If they do not, their elaborate prayers and movements will put them outside of where I am, and they will not be protected by their closeness to Me.”
In the vision, we danced away and the woman performing the elaborate solo dance never made contact with us.
“This is why their prayers go unanswered. They think they must DO something, but they are moving and praying according to their own desires and are not listening to Me.”
I thanked Him for showing me what was needed and left the Secret Place. This vision shows why the Lord is referred to as a vine while we are the branches.
I Am the vine, you are the branches: He that stays in Me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without Me you can do nothing. (John 15:5 AKJV)
Trees also have branches that are solid and unmovable like the stone vision the Lord showed me. A vine is flexible and movable with the ability to spread over great distances. When the wind blows, we must cling to the vine and flow with it. Branches that are anchored into one place may be torn from the vine by a strong wind. When we approach the Lord, we must know that it is our responsibility to:
Wait on His timing.
Rest in Him until He answers us.
Listen for subtle nudges from the Holy Spirit.
Many people have come to the Courts of Heaven (CoH) Academy believing that all they needed to do was to learn how to enter the CoH, then all their prayers will be answered, and the enemy will be removed. Learning about the CoH reveals the true authority and how victory is gained over the enemy through our testimony. God is the Judge of the Courts of Heaven, but we need to be flexible and allow the Lord to lead us to freedom. Knowing about the CoH gives you insight but you may not need to go to the Courts to get a breakthrough.
Once you know about the Courts, the Holy Spirit can reveal the charges to you in intercession.
This allows Him to show you how they apply to your life.
The Lord may need to heal a soul wound that is keeping you bound in sin.
The healing, breakthrough, or answer you seek may have become an idol in your life.
The Lord may bring the answer as you learn to let go of it. This often happens as we worship Him.
Once you learn the basics about how God operates, you must learn how to remain with the Lord, to move with Him, and not dance around Him. This is true submission to Jesus. We are submitting our will to His, making Him the focus of our lives.
Just this week we have had an amazing testimony that verifies this message. Jen has been with our church from the beginning and was in the hospital at that time. She was dealing with a number of health issues. She gained some freedom, then lost her healing, then discovered the open door in her life and was once again freed and healed. The entire testimony is in the Removing Attacks class “Cursed Objects.”
Jen had appointments for soul healing and intercession over the last several months and had been making great progress in deepening her relationship with the Lord. She had finally started to hear from Him again.
There was a decision Jen had been struggling with for some time. A door had been opened for her to move to Cyprus, but she didn’t really want to go there. Jen continued to ask the Lord to show her if that was His will. Doors in her home country closed while other doors in Cyprus opened. Finally, she told the Lord, “If you want me to move to Cyprus I will, but first I have to get my back taken care of.”
Although one issue had been healed, Jen still moved about with the help of crutches after being diagnosed with back issues - she had suffered in pain for years. When she’d said “I have to get my back taken care of” she meant that she’d have back surgery with the specialist who had been assigned to her. Jen considered this appointment with the specialist as a miracle.
Days passed, then during her personal prayer time at Passover, she saw a vision of the Lord taking stripes on His back. He looked at her and said, “I took these for you.”
A few days later, at Jen’s pre-operation consultation, the doctor brought a large group of people to review the MRI scans he’d taken of Jen’s back. He was a bit puzzled as he told her, “It appears your back has healed itself.” This occurred a mere five days after the previous MRI scan to which the new one was being compared.
Jen hadn’t really paid much attention to the fact that the pain she had suffered with for so long had disappeared after the vision of the Lord. Now she understands that He was speaking about healing, not only salvation. The Lord had a different plan. It was simply a matter of fully submitting to His will, and the healing she needed came about, so much as a single prayer. The Lord had brought to her a couple of scriptures:
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (Isaiah 40:30-31 AKJV)
They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing… (Psalm 92:14 AKJV)
I had to chuckle when Jen told me that it seemed like she had been in the valley of shadows forever. Most Christians have felt that same way, at one time or another. Her journey is a perfect example of what the CoH Academy is all about.
A few weeks ago, I asked the Lord, “Where are all the miracles? How are people being set free in the Academy?” Now I know.
You must apply what you learn.
You must submit your will to your Lord.
Then He provides all you need, including healing!
Let go of issues in your life. Draw close to the Lord and He will tell you everything you need to know! This is why we have so many courses in our church. We are a family, and we will not give up on you! Keep learning and let us know if you are under an attack: Meet with an advisor who may:
Recommend a class.
Recommend intercession.
