Disciple: a Learner, pupil

The disciples were so excited about Jesus' ministry, they joined Him in working for the Father. The first requirement for discipleship is enthusiasm for what you have received from God through this ministry.

• If you are excited by what you have found at OCC, then discipleship may be for you!

Through the Gospels we see that opportunities for learning developed while they worked together in ministry. ​

• Disciples must be willing to help the ministry grow through volunteering their time.

Sometimes we need to grow in God before we can begin working for Him. For this reason, those wishing to volunteer will undergo a season of intense discipleship before volunteering. You will meet with your group leader weekly or biweekly until you are ready to volunteer.
